Edward Gordon is an accomplished financial executive and community leader with more than four decades of experience spanning corporate finance, treasury management, and investment services. His career reflects both depth and versatility, bridging leadership roles in banking, consulting, and entrepreneurship.
Edward began his professional journey at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, where he served as a Supervisor overseeing Return Item and Automated Clearing House units, as well as a Methods Analyst. His early experience in financial operations laid a strong analytical foundation that would shape his later work in corporate finance and treasury management.
He went on to hold key positions at Centerre Bank (later Bank of America) in St. Louis, serving as a Senior Financial Analyst, and at Wetterau Incorporated, where he managed Treasury Operations. His financial acumen and leadership skills led him to Ralcorp Holdings, Inc., where he served as Corporate Cash Manager, overseeing liquidity management and corporate investment strategies.
A natural entrepreneur, Edward became Owner and Board Member of St. Louis Brewery, Inc., where he also acted as General Manager and CFO, guiding the company through a period of strategic growth and financial restructuring. He later transitioned into high-level consulting and executive roles at Wachovia Bank and JMH Treasury Outsourcing, where he served as Senior Vice President and later Executive Vice President, leading treasury consulting engagements and outsourcing operations for a diverse range of clients.
From 2005 to 2025, Edward operated with Edward Jones Investments in Marietta, Georgia, a firm distinguished as the only major financial services company dedicated exclusively to advising individual investors.
Beginning December 2025, Edward embarked on a new professional chapter by affiliating with the Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network (FiNet) as a Financial Advisor and Small Business Owner.
Edward holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Indiana University (1985) and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Washington University (1982). His professional credentials include CFP® (Certified Financial Planner) certification.
Edward has been married to his wife, Nancy Gardner, for 39 years. They have two sons, Nathan (35) and Daniel (34). Outside of work, Edward is passionate about cycling, snow skiing, technology, gadgets, carpentry, and, above all, spending time with family.
